About the Role

We are looking for a Specialist to assist the Supply chain and Logistics Manager/Deputy Responsible Person in maintaining effective, compliant operation of specialist FDA-licensed Facility, and associated international shipping/logistics, in relation to high-value pharmaceutical and healthcare products

What will your job look like?

• Order Preparation & Dispatch - Picks, packs, and prepares customer orders using appropriate (including temperature-controlled) packaging and documentation
• Stock Management - Receives, checks, stores, rotates, and maintains accurate records of stock to ensure availability for dispatch
• Storage & Equipment Use - Ensures safe and compliant storage of goods, including the appropriate use of equipment like forklifts and pallet trucks
• Quality & Compliance - Adheres to all relevant SOPs, GDP, H&S, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA), ensuring temperature control and product integrity
• Customer & Supplier Liaison - Communicates with customers, suppliers, and third-party logistics to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective deliveries
• Problem Solving & Service - Identifies and resolves logistical issues efficiently, delivering solutions-focused customer service
• Support & Leadership - Supports quality audits, deputises for the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, and provides cross-functional communication
• Logistics Coordination - Assists in transport planning, import/export compliance, and timely product shipment in line with customer and regulatory needs
• System Use & Administration - Maintains accurate documentation and uses internal systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SharePoint) proficiently
• Physical & Out-of-Hours Readiness- Performs physical tasks (lifting, bending), supports emergency scenarios, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement

What will you need to succeed?

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• GDP/GMP in a pharmaceutical environment an advantage
• Forklift truck licence
• Experience of working to stringent quality standards, and keeping records demonstrating compliance 
• Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50lbs, walk and bend frequently
